Kristen a.k.a. Kitty Tarragó is a Miami native now based in NYC.
First introduced to theater and film in South Miami, Kristen moved across the country to Los Angeles, working on television, web series, and film productions. Yet, it was her performance in RENT on Hollywood Blvd that reignited her love for live theater.
Kristen embarked on her next adventure as a Production Singer and Dancer for Carnival Cruise Lines, captivating audiences from 2016 to 2022.
In 2022, after joining the On Your Feet 2nd National Tour, she began as a part of the Ensemble and received the opportunity to showcase her versatility by understudying two significant roles—Gloria Estefan and Gloria Fajardo which lead her to her principal role for the remainder of her contract.

Miami native Kristen Tarrago plays Gloria’s mother, and she turns in a wonderfully realized performance carrying some of the best songs in the show. Tarrago and Garnica duet in the only original song for the musical “If I Never Got to Tell You,” and it becomes one of the spiritual climaxes of the night.
